Americans Hate America series Number V

Many Americans hate America seemingly for various reasons. From slavery to steeling “native American land.” What caused this radical change in thinking is not an invading army from another country but rather an idea. Marxism did not establish a country based on communism. He, however, created an ideological system to radical transform and ultimately destroy nations. Marxism is a disease like cult.

What is a cult? That term seems to be loose, like a worm on a hook. For our use of the term, however, will just say the term cult means mind control and emotional manipulation. There are, nonetheless, some dangerous cults. Such cults manipulate people to believe certain things, to the extent, they carry out violence and even murder.

Some groups even commit mass suicides. Jim Jones come to mind and the Heavens gate religious group. Jim Jones became connected with key Pentecostal groups and influential members. He eventually moved his congregation to Guyana, where he led over 900 plus members to commit suicide in 1978. Heaven’s Gate leader convinces 39 of its members to commit mass suicide. This is what mind control can led to and these cults pale in comparison to Marxism.

For cults to exists, it needs to oppress the opposition.  When Lenin gained power in Russia, he quickly moved to suppress freedom of speech. One of the first things he did was shut down the middle-class press, “like a diseased limb.” [1] Lenin continued to take away people’s civil liberties establishing a one-party system. This cult-disease became unstoppable. In all, the Communists set out “to abolish private property, collectivize farms, nationalize industry and banking, and eliminate religion.” [2]

Contrast that with James Madison. Madison in Federalist 10 mentions threats (factions) to the “rights of other citizens.” [3]These factions, whether they be large or small, aim to destroy nations and governments. They first take away people’s civil liberties. Madison mentions two ways to combat these factions. One is to “remove the causes of factions or controlling its effects.” [4]

To take away civil liberties or natural rights means to extensions the air political institutions and political life thrive. It will not only take away freedom, but it will take away the air diseases thrive. Hence, liberty and diseases live in a symbiotic environment. Madison linked this to human nature. As long as humans live, have freedom, we also live with diseases.

Communism not only kills freedom it kills life. The disease takes total control of the host. Those who live under Communism have no freedom to read opposing material. Books are burned. Certain types of paintings are prohibited. There is no freedom of the press.

Communism destroys history, freedom, nations, and people. Millions have died under Marxism. Marxism is a cult-disease. Not purely cult nor purely disease. But a combination of one of the most lethal ideologies every conceived from hell.
